Pilates for Every Body opened its doors in 2002 - long before Pilates achieved the the notoriety with the general public that it has garnered today, and long before Pilates became a franchise business. Our personal approach to working with our clients and offering a well-rounded fitness program is unique.
Alison Bricken
Owner/Instructor
Alison Bricken was certified in 2002 by the Pilates Method Alliance, and maintains this certification through the recently renamed National Pilates Certification Program. Alison has many years of experience teaching all aspects of fitness in Fairfield County. In addition to her Pilates certifications she completed extensive coursework in post-rehabilitation training using the Pilates Method. She is a certified Yamuna Body Rolling practitioner, Yamuna Foot Fitness practitioner, Yamuna Face Ball practitioner and Yamuna Table Treatment practitioner. She also holds credentials in flexibility and strength training by Wharton Performance Institute. She holds a current certification in Group Exercise from the American Council on Exercise, and also a TRX Suspension certification. Alison actively pursues continuing education in all aspects of exercise and fitness training and utilizes the most current research and methodology in working with her clients.
Charlene Erwin
Owner/Instructor
Charlene Erwin was certified in 2002 by the Pilates Method Alliance, and maintains this certification through the recently renamed National Pilates Certification Program. Charlene has many years of experience teaching all aspects of fitness in Fairfield County and her classes at the Westport Senior Center are in demand and highly popular. In addition to her Pilates certifications she completed extensive coursework in post-rehabilitation using the Pilates Method. She is a certified Yamuna Body Rolling practitioner, Yamuna Foot Fitness practitioner, Yamuna Face Ball practitioner and Yamuna Table Treatment practitioner. She also holds credentials in flexibility and strength training by Wharton Performance Institute. She holds a current certification as a Personal Trainer from the American Council on Exercise, and also a TRX Suspension certification. Charlene actively pursues continuing education in all aspects of exercise and fitness training and utilizes the most current research and methodology in working with her clients.
